    Consumer unit at 90 degrees

Yes they will operate (think of a 3 phase d/b). However I cant see it it would be installed as per manus instructions. Not something I would ever do, I have used two narrow boards one above the other before.

joining 6mm twin and earth - drilled through cable

Those junction boxes arent compliant under the floor boards. You need to crimp the cable and sleeve/enclose it. I very much doubt (off the top of my head) that 6mm can ever carry 50amps.

No. And the 50a MCB isn't OK either.

Earth bonding and Earth Cable Runs

Don't bother bonding any pipes at boiler, waste of time. Bond required to incoming services, gas and water generally, within 600mm of entry to building. I'm sure this will be in the wiki.

New central heating install - what to do!

Just ring around I suppose, tell them you have access issues etc. Miller Patterson used to have small vans but I'm not sure they still operate. The pricing is generally around the same figure between companies.

Does my office require RCBO's (hence new DB)

I dont think its fair making this comment, this board is in a commercial environment and for all we know it could have been done out of hours. There are too many variables.

Internal bore of 25mm light gauge conduit.

He posted in the plumbing forum looking for a pipe that could be used to sleeve 22mm copper through walls.

Internal bore of 25mm light gauge conduit.

Not sure exactly, but the wall is very thin. So yes you can probably get your 22mm pipe through it

    Twin socket behind a bookcase

But the fuse wouldn't be accessible John. I'd get a local electrician to move the socket over, to the side of the book case, using mini trunking (which the bookcase will hide), which involves no chasing out, and probably just 2 hours labour (subject to existing earthing and bonding status).

    Is builder being unreasonable?

You cant say/think you have been over charged, no one on here has seen your job.
