    Touch Dimmer Installation.

I really don't know. If it was working and now isn't, it could simply be faulty. What kind of lamps are you dimming?

Dimmer switches - can I convert a master to a slave?

I'd get the bigger one - it's not much more expensive and is less likely to overheat.

Dimmer switches - can I convert a master to a slave?

You need one master (the one you have linked to) and one slave :- http://www.tlc-direct.co.uk/Products/VLISS002.html

Dimmer switches - can I convert a master to a slave?

If you currently have a working 2 gang, 2 way arrangement, and it has been wired with 3C+E cables between the two switches, then what you need is one 2 gang Varilight master and one 2 gang Varilight slave. It doesn't matter which end of the cable the master and slave dimmers are, but they...

    2 doorbells off 1 transformer

You would need the two bells in parallel, not series.

    Touch Dimmer Installation.

Connect one of your red wires to L, the other to ~ and earth to earth. If it doesn't behave properly (although it really shouldn't matter), swap the two red wires over.

    Towel Radiator Plumbing

I can't see why it wouldn't work. You've still got a flow and return - the position of the pump is immaterial. I'm not a plumber - just looking at the diagram from a pragmatic point of view! You'll need to be careful not to open the valves too wide on the towel radiator though?

    Baxi Bermuda 552 TV Issues

Did you use cheap brown air spaced coax, or decent foil screened satellite cable? If it was the former, then that is part of your problem too!

Help needed, refilled central heating system not working!...

Rechargeable batteries are 1.2V not 1.5V so even when fully charged, they will look to be low to your thermostat. Stick a pair of alkaline batteries in there.

    Boiler Replacement - Preparations

Hi I'm replacing an old and gradually failing Vokera boiler with a Vaillant 831 in a couple of weeks time and wanted to seek advice on any preparatory work that you think would be advisable. The system is plumbed entirely in Hep2O apart from the radiator tails. Six of the radiators are of...

Hi You're quite right... Can you find your local programmes on any channel number anywhere in the list? If so, there is a menu option to rearrange the channels.

    New induction hob

In my installation manual, it states two alternative connection methods:- 1) 5 core into a 32A circuit, 3 core into a 20A circuit 2) Both cables into a 63A circuit That suggests that there is no need to provide two individual breakers if you don't want to. I wouldn't swap my induction...

    New induction hob

I can confirm that the larger DeDietrich induction hobs come with two cables. One is a five core and one is a three core. On the five core, the two neutrals and the two lives are crimped together in ferrules. All the cores are 2.5mm. Total maximum load on my unit is 10.8kW - I expect the...

Your 32A kitchen radial would probably require 6mm cable which will be difficult to fit in most (all) accessories.

    remodelled one-bedroom flat

A lot of european ovens need 16A supplies so you might be better off fitting a cooker outlet plate instead of a 13A socket.
