where are you putting the wires from your programmer and mot valve. their are 3 numbers on the rear of the stat.

ptfe tape or liquid ptfe on the threads. the larger washer is for the 3/4 mixer nuts.

sounds like you have a problem with the water flow control valve.

you can i charge £350 for seven rad system + £25 for every extra rad. phone bg they will give you a good deal. mind you most people are grateful of a good service. £20 for diagnostic work is cheap.
