    Kitchen tap dripping

Sometimes if WD40 doesn't do the trick very hot water can help, especially if the cartridge itself is hard to remove.

camray 5 oil boiler,,,firing fine but no hot water or heating???

What is the system pressure? It could just be a shortage of water.

    Chrome shower riser reduction, how?

Why do you need to cut it down?

    BALANCED COLD WATER

You can always fit the pressure reducing valve after the mains comes in and then everything would be balanced. The relief valve will still need to discharge externally though.

    Oil Central Heating (or electric?)

My preference are Grant boilers... http://www.grantuk.com/products/oil-fired-condensing-boilers/ ... and no, I don't work for them.

I can't see any kind of auto bypass though on your S-plan

Oil heating. Replace with gas? Costs?

If you did want to switch from oil to gas I would advise you do it once the oil boiler is at or near the end of its life.

Oil heating. Replace with gas? Costs?

If you think oil isn't that cheap you obviously haven't bought any gas lately...

    Full bore 22mm flexi connector?

No there isn't. What is supplying cold to the mixer tap? If it is mains then it won't work properly. If it is tank feed then do the same to both taps and the flow/pressure will be equal.

Please help, I don't like the new toilet I have been given.....

I don't think a decent plumber would A) leave that crappy plastic isolation valve in B) have any flexi coupler actually showing C) use two pan connectors on one pan like that. As the soil pipe goes through the floor a few inches away from the wall I think it is reasonable to have a small gap...

    Connecting to water mains

Ah yes sure it is... I didn't look at the photo very well did I?

    Connecting to water mains

You need to thread it and connect to it with a female iron to an MDPE threaded adapter or try a universal MDPE to Steel coupler. The outside of the steel pipe would need to be nice and clean though. Are you CERTAIN it is the water pipe? I would hate a GAS LEAK to spoil your bank holiday wknd!

Boiler oil fuel leak and getting rid of the stink

That cat litter would make an excellent bonfire fire-lighter afterwards. You can buy a "Cherry Bomb" Air Freshener that can mask the oil smell. TBH the oil will evaporate over a few days if you can put up with it. If not some news paper or cat litter but be careful what you do with it...

Cold Water Tank Filling even with stopcock tied off

The passing could come from a very small flow from the cold into the hot I have seen it before.

Cold Water Tank Filling even with stopcock tied off

The water is either coming in from the cylinder coil or a tap/shower that is passing cold water into the hot water system.

Cold Water Tank Filling even with stopcock tied off

Do you have a second smaller water tank that feeds the heating system? If so and it is higher than the CWSC then the coil in your cylinder may be passing water [leaking] from heating system to hot water system... or... You have a mixer tap that could be passing cold mains water back into the...
