    When ever anybody moves to a new property they should check the telephone installation and report anything not fixed or dangling ,as in jimbo's case,to BT.Nowdays the engineer is supposed to visit the new customer when the line is taken over,but this does'nt always happen.I would not recommend...

    Kev ,I see that but what I can't get my head round is that if a Trv is set at max it would not open and shut off as regards room temp , It would shut off when it reached its max operating temp and if the thermostat was set at below that temp then the thermostat would be controlling the boiler...

    BAHCO,just out of interest from a novice,could he simply leave the TRV in place set at max/fully open, instead of replacing them with normal rad valves.just a thought.

    It is a rainwater gully trap,It will sit at the bottom of a rainwater fall pipe ,it will be situated in a hole in the ground approx 400mm deep,when fixed it will be flush with existing block paving.
