definately pcb for the 60. as kev said no flame detection for the 70-80, can be a by-product of a faulty pcb but you won't know til the board's changed. In my experience it's never been anything additional.

really common problem on these is the primary thermistor. Your symptoms point to it.

it's keeping hot water circulating between the taps and the store. It's really designed for use if your taps are far away from the store and you're on a meter so you don't waste too much water. Should be on a timer to coincide with peak usage time.

He didn't specify that. I think he was suggesting what he might have thought would be acceptable. If I was converting my garage to a study dry lining it would be far cheaper and less intensive. I was just chucking him the options.
