    What to use as packing under flat bottom free standing bath

    filling the bath before sealing it won't work in this case because you need to get the silicone underneath it. You'd be abit buggered if you need to put more underneath it, unless you emptied the bath then refilled it again after adding more sealant.

    ******UPDATE******* Just to let you know (If your interested!!) i took the skirting off, just re-fitting it now after laying laminate again (we decided it'd be cheaper to lay laminate again).

    i walked into someones hallway to look at a stain on a ceiling, anyway the hall was covered in patches of plaster. i asked what the patches were. He proceeded to tell me that he was knocking up a bucket at a time and having a go!!! It looked a complete state!!! Get a profesional in! Gareth

    This is what i do but i'm a plasterer and i used to be a making good hand on site (not alot of making good needs to be done on my walls (normally...HAha))

    the only time i've ever encountered this is when i've just PVA'd a wall and i'm putting a thick skim over the top, even then it sags but doesn't crack like yours. what are you plastering on top of? Gareth

Wardrobes have left hole in laminate and we want to take laminate up and re-carpet. to do a proper job, should i take all the existing skirting off and refit after taking...

    glueing is fine aslong as the plaster has adhered to the wall properly!!! (The plaster is only as sound as what's behind it)
