Check the obvious first.....leaks on system/rads. Then check the prv outlet pipe to see if it's dripping. May just need replacing the prv or the exp vessel charging rather than replacing

If you know what your doing you could strip it out and clean it but i would replace it AFTER you have sorted the cause out ie why has the primary blocked?? You may need the system cleaning/powerflushing or it will just happen again.......and again......etc etc

Probably diaphram split in pressure diff. Does the microswitch make on the front left side of the brass housing when you turn water on? If not replace Easy fix. Search other postings for how

Not the pump. Expansion vessel not charged. Either pump it up to recharge it or the diaphram is split and it needs replacing. Or fit an external one on the return pipework if you have space

All 105 expansions are at the back......yup an external would be fine but maybe the OP asked for a like for like?? Who the hell cares what was quoted if the op accepts then it's ok.....none of us have seen the job so stop carping......the price is steep assuming all things being...

I think you will find that replacing the expansion vessel will almost always entail removing the boiler off the wall.......and hence 600 inc vat is not dear.

OP - The clue is in the error code.....low water pressure. Often 1 bar (cold) will not be enough to allow the system to operate. Fill to 1.5 bar cold......you won't have any more issues. This IS NOT a frost protection issue, nor a faulty thermistor.......

The bubble inside the megaflo is to allow pottable hot water to expand. The external expansion vessell is for system water that is pumped around the boiler/rads/tank. It's this that needs a recharge.......use a foot pump and recharge it (drain system water first) if it holds job done, if not...

Wasting your money my friend. The symptoms you describle are not ususally explained by a sticking pin or holed diaphram. Thermistor or plate heat ex is much more likely

Perfectly safe to reduce the pressure via a rad bleed valve. As to why it has shot up it's possible the iso valve is letting by raising the water pressure or the expanssion vessel may have lost it's charge or may need replacing. Get a G3 competant engineer to check it over
