Never understood why people switch the boiler over to hw only......switch of timer and stat and it is......er hot water only delivery! Probably stuck diverter......strip, clean or replace

Thermistor fault, diverter fault or board.....without being infront of it i can say no more.......why have an engineer check it then not believe him??

more info please.....error lights? What parts fitted, does water flow through boiler to hot taps?? Anything relevant would be good !

tough one.......i wouldn't spend a penny more if you are changing in 3 weeks. Try to use your immersion for hot water (assuming you have one) and live without heat for 3 weeks

Lot of rubbish typed on here..... The old style boards were an issue. The new ones fail no more than any others i deal with. I have seen hundreds of suprima's and replaced 3 new boards out of all of them. If we still see an old board we replace so as to sort out any issues. The...

Does the bath have a mixer tap?? If so the hot water is letting by or not opening properly.......new taps

Blocked or pump as kev has said. What colour is the system water when you drain a little out of a rad? Plus silly but check all the isolation switches on the boiler are open and lastly check the diverter is working does your boiler work fine on hot water?

How long is a peice of string.......! Estimate 3.5k to 6k dependent on boiler model tank size etc etc etc

They left you without heat in order to save you and the kids lives You have to bite the bullet and get a new boiler.......simples Get some quotes off local RGI's preferably some that have been recomended

Sorry but you have had an illegal boiler installation. With that in mind i am not going to offer any advice. Others on here may take pity but my guess is you would be willing to break more gas regs if it suited so in the words of the Dragon's ' I'm out'

Am i m issing something??? Just by a set of 10 0r 8mm flexible (Which ever fit) tails and fit in.....then connect to a section of pipe on the flow side that isn't damaged (or add a new T and pipe stub)

My guess is on a torn/pin holed diaphram. Drain and replace.....not too difficult
