    Can Kamala Harris win?

Classic narcissist. He's always whining that people are being horrible to him if they give the slightest criticism.

They’re dealing out swift justice to the rioters

If you read the sentencing guide, they don't list hate as a possible aggravating factor for this crime. I think it's a red herring. To be charged with "stirring up racial hatred with hate" doesn't seem sensible to me...

Is there anyone on here called Steve?

They’re dealing out swift justice to the rioters

Well, if she intended to incite others to burn down hotels with people inside, surely that can only be "Intention to incite serious violence". In which case it would be category A. The Harm category is a bit more difficult for me to interpret.

They’re dealing out swift justice to the rioters

As far as I can tell, hate crime wasn't actually added as a factor in the prosecution of the two men already sentenced. On the basis of reading those two sentences, it seem she is in line for the same sort of sentence if guilty. Culpability will be category A, if there was "Intention to incite...

They’re dealing out swift justice to the rioters

So how would you distinguish this case from the two already sentenced? Using the guidelines. https://www.judiciary.uk/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/R-v-Tyler-Kay-Sentencing-remarks.pdf https://www.judiciary.uk/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/Jordan-Parlour.-Media-Posts.-Final.pdf...

They’re dealing out swift justice to the rioters

If the police don't release the suspect's details very soon, he's going to start wondering what they aren't telling us.

They’re dealing out swift justice to the rioters

Do you have any specific cases to refer to concerning those suspended sentences you mentioned regarding the Palestinian protests? I've not found any. Ideally, I'd like to be able to compare the sentencing comments from the judge with those convicted in these far right riots.

    Can Kamala Harris win?

The meltdown continues! Trump has now been posting that Harris' crowds are all AI generated. She knows this issue is obsessing him and her and Walz are trolling him very effectively at every rally by talking about the size of their crowds. Her campaign replied to one of Trump's latest posts by...

    Can Kamala Harris win?

I've not noticed myself. Do you mean how she used to laugh a bit oddly when she was nervous?

There is no such thing as "two tier policing"

The Royal United Services Institute has said today that there is, indeed, a two tier approach. But actually opposite to the way it has been reported. They are saying that Keir Starmer is underplaying the threat by calling it "far right thuggery" and that, because of its highly organised nature...

    Can Kamala Harris win?

I started this thread by saying that, after everything I had read about Kamala Harris, I was surprised by how good she actually was. I've just watched her final speech of this swing state tour, and she is now even better. She is passionate, charismatic, funny, kind, empathetic and a wonderful...
