    Just pointing out that short journeys in a diesel will clog the dpf and cause a lot of extra expense.

    Unless you do a lot of longer journeys to get a Euro 6 diesel up to temperature and enable regen cycle regularly you are in for a lot of pain. You ae better off with a petrol.

    The red wire goes in with the brown, live feed in. Strip the black back about 10mm and insert into the middle terminal. Isolate the electrical supply before doing this!!

    In short, no. The back and sides clip into each other and the chipboard base screws into the channels created thus.

    Our oven is well over 16 years old. It was there when we moved in 16 years ago. I have replaced the main element twice, thermostat once and lamp several times. Still cheaper than a new oven.

    You might also ask why there are so many different shapes/sizes/configurations of air and oil filters for cars. Manufacturers use what they will. Aftermarket provide replacements to fit.

    Funny no one has commented on the consumer unit being made up of mismatched mcb's. Also, @ericmark, it is a TNS supply. You can clearly see the earth clamp on the lead sheath of the incomer (although that is another issue).
