    Fast blow fuses

Don't know where you got that from EFLI, but Quick Acting is NOT Anti Surge. Just saying

Using a standard shower pump for the whole house

Never known it to be called Sussex flange - and I live there. Been in the trade nearly 40 years and always heard it called Surrey flange.

    Masons Mitre joint excess

2780 - 2680 = 100mm. Personally I wouldn't be keen on the sink that tight on the corner, very weak point for handling the worktop.

    Light Switch Wiring Conundrum

You have live in, live out to next light, switched live to this light. Shouldn't be too hard to find the right combo. Oh, turn off the power before playing!

    Toolbox

Of your choices, I would say the Dewalt is the better.

    A good deal/price?

The Toolstation one is higher spec, 50% more torque at 65Nm, faster, more bpm, shorter length 175mm instead of 228mm.

4 appliances on a single 45a unfused spur

Just as a by-the-way, you won't get a sparky to issue an EIC for work they haven't done.

    Light Switch Wiring Conundrum

Take one of the two and put it with the one. Mark it first (which is what you didn't do before). If the light stays on, swap that with the other one.

    Thinking About A New Car

I get 600 miles to a tank in my VW Transporter (2.0TDI, 150PS, auto), no more than 10 mins in the fuel station, no electric vehicle can beat that. Plus have the capacity to carry all the equipment and spares that I need for my job. I often have to travel 350 - 450 miles in a day.

Hardwood back board. Fitted with self tapping screws. Or rivnuts.

How to replace skirting board running up a stair case

Looks like you have a moulding on top of the stringer. The moulding should be removable, but if it's glued on then it may have to be cut off. It could be ripped down skirting as opposed to a standard moulding. In which case you could do the same again.

How can I add a drawer to a 'non drawer' base unit

B&Q internal drawer designed to go behind cupboard door. 600mm, other widths available. https://www.diy.com/departments/goodhome-soto-internal-drawer-front-w-600mm/3663602479321_BQ.prd

    Aldi Ferrex Compatible Battery

Quite frankly, for what that stuff costs, buy new.

Outside Light - would you be happy?

Looks like the supply cable was stripped back to the brickwork, which is why he's taped it up (not very well). Don't know why there's half a red plug behind the box. I would have fitted the box over the cable, rear entry, with a good blob of silicone to seal. Also used an IP65 box.
