    If you don't want any tiles off, simply slip a soaker on top of the eave and under the first tile . On each bond . Make them long enough to form a hook over the top of the eave tile. Fyi they are Marley concrete plain tile in smooth grey , still available.

    There are plenty of vent tiles to suit Stonewolds . But , the stonewolds are laid below minimum pitch from memory. The lowest pitch vent tiles I remember is 17.5. Why not go for a lead slate , pipe and mushroom cowl ?

    If you in sheltered area then nail and bed the verges. If it were my house I'd bed the ridge and use an purpose made plate and Ss screw at joints , drill and screw the last ones . It's very rare to see eaves clips these days , they used to be integrated with the reforms .

    Try and move the pipe , if it's moving on the ears I'd take the pipe down and refit to suit . If they are sound cut and fit an eared socket before you do the lower work . Job done

    Seen that on Cambrian slates , busted channels on edgemeres but not the senior slate . I'll keep my eye open on that. I have seen blocked channels on moderns and stonewolds and others but they were generally over 20 years old. The condron senior has not been available around here that long ...

    I would use NHL 3.5 and a 3 to 1 mix with a good washed aggregate. (Wareham washed we use depending on stone) We generally use st Astier lime as found it consistently reliable .
