The alarm will not set if one of the zones is open , so look at the display to see which zone is in fault.If it is a door , make sure the magnetic contact is present.

Press the star key , followed by the zone you require to chime eg. 1 , then press the star key again.

Last few I have done I have managed to get a surface contact within the channeling (top or side), if you see what I mean, there is quite a lot of room.So you see nothing when the door is shut.If room is tight I remove the magnet from its box , and glue it.

As europlex says , you need to set off a FULL alarm , my guess is you are not letting the 2-ply entry tones finish. EG. 15 sec entry tones , 15 secs internal alarm , then external siren starts.

Just remember there is a zone wired from the RKP. 8)

Hi , Have you set the jumper for the on-board battery?.Also check that you are getting 12v at the D and A terminals. If at a loss try it on a short piece of wire next to the alarm panel , easier than up a ladder. I've never had a faulty bellbox , its nearly always the wiring. Rgs
