i dont know of any, can you not take out the inside of the waste and clean it ? might be worth swapping the waste to an easy clean if possible. would help maintenance for the future

screwfix armeg range do a 42 mm core. well priced too i chop away the brick a nats on the outside so the collar of the fitting fits flush in the brick work.

shower should be 42 mm, i would not worry as long as you have a fall to the outside, you can only work with what you have. make sure you have an easy clean waste fitted incase you have to rod it later in life . should be fine.

agree with mogget, the cylinder return must be the last tee on the return to the boiler.

as above i think the classic was a 3 wire boiler. there is no way to know what the wires are without dropping the front cover. who ever installed should of flagged the cables but rarely do. a multi tester should give you a good idea though but a visual is more accurate.

seem to think 1 tub does 10 rads.. so 2 is fine. :) some systems just need bleeding more than others. keep an eye on the water quality though every time you re fill a system you are adding oxygen to the system which in turn increases the corrosion within the system. ie: water/oxygen and...

i cant see anything here to pressure the system, i have sometimes seen the filling loop in a cellar or under a boiler and sometimes behind a boxing under the boiler .. it could be anywere really.. just a case of finding it .. readme here http://www.diynot.com/wiki/plumbing:filling_loop...

10mm is fine for the shower. sorry i am lost is the rcd tripping on the shower on the main switch on the split load. :)

should be fine, use a decent quality plug and and a 2 1/2 10 screw. i knock the plug well in to the hole so it grabs on the thread and the screw does not come out of the end.

if you have wooden floors pull up a board and cut the pipe, let it drain to the footings. replace with a compression tee and add a drain off. dont bother with the vac, if your not on a water meter shut all the rads except 1 and let the f&e tank fill and flush the open rad, shut and open...
