update as of today ... hot water only.... the boiler runs sweet as a nut ..... 2 days now no problem ... turn the heating on and fuse trips again .. any more thought s lads... i suspect a dodgy new board .. (its making me look silly now )

i have sub contracted to them twice the prices are ok .. but they never pay any extras and the materials ar always a little short... you are surposed to get a ticket signed for any materials you use of your own .. the lead wont sign em .. never ever ... they have as much or as least work you...

measure the bath panel ..... 520 mm usually... place a batton on the wall at this height to were the bath is fitted .. 2x1 .. level the bath and silicon the back lip of the bath ... also place 3x2 on the floor below the feet this will shorten the threads there fore making it more stable...

before u say anything lads i know they are ****e .. i have gone to a repair today the 2 amp fuse is tripping in the pcb have checked everything and all seems ok replace the fuse and it pops striaght away .... as per usuall sticking switches on the board .. ! replaced the board and...

i go round 14 times on a 1/2 rad tail and it works good . remember to go the opposite way to the threads . :)

little more info needed here.. were is the tank in relation to the rest of the system.. ? it sounds like low head to me .. ie: not enough height from the expansion to the system .

2 things to check .. firstly has the plastic tank filled up .. maybe ball valve is stuck shut .. secondly there is air trapped at the top of the cylinder 1 solution is to place a piece of hose pipe from the hot tap to the cold tap .and turn the cold tap on therefore blowing cod water up the...

did you shut offthe feed to the tank or the gate valve on the feed to the cylinder ??

there is no reason to reconnect an old gas pipe in the street and if for some crazy reason they did a test would be applied to the pipe as a matter of course..

remove the isolater on the cold side is it fully open or partially blocked maybe ?? it is only a ball isolator and mybe damged ? i am guessing here.

mmm you really need the panel me thinks most of the baths i fit 20 inch .. but by the look of things they differ slightly .. sorry for the duff info . :(

silicon under the face of the trap were the plug goes .. this stops water going under that then with the trap in place silicon under the shower base add the rubber and more silicon screw on the locking nut then tidy up all the excess with a wet cloth and leave to cure 24 hrs to be sure .. :)
