How many Fused Spurs from a single Junction box ?

Unless you haven't mentioned that this dp switch will feed a double socket of course.

    D link wireless router.

Who are your ISP? There's a very good chance that it will work on ME, but the CD won't - try just opening internet explorer and see what happens with it plugged in.

93 Escort EFI, missing on Acceleration

Check the idle speed control valve before anything else. Might be any of the sensors though.

    Ye Gods!

IIRC something like a zero88 betapack can be rewired in this way - it can be fed from 32 amp single phase, 16 amp three phase or three 13 amp plugtops using the links on the back. Probably better just to use more than one smaller dimmer pack though. If I go on the blue room I'll just end up on...

    Electric shower hot...then cold...then hot

Old man seems to think so, he's a heating engineer by trade, so I'll go with that - I think they are at least worth trying for the money - can't hurt can it.... A water softener is a proper solution (old man has one in his house) but it's £££ compared to an inline magnetic thing.

How many Fused Spurs from a single Junction box ?

From the 20 amp radial being run in for the washer, that goes through the same grid box!!

Tingle from Dishwasher + light switch

Why does this remind me of the joke about going to hell and a load of people standing up waste deep in crap drinking tea?

When you fit a new shower, fit an inline descaler too.

Which is the top 40"+ tv now & plasma or lcd

By all means ask over on avforums, but the answer that you are looking for is Panasonic, 1080p, plasma in either 42 or 50 inch (or equivalent) - unless budget is no object and then go for Pioneer or Fujitsu - but still plasma. LCD is great for smaller screen sizes, but plasma has far outstripped...

    iron keeps tripping RCD

Generates the steam in a container separate from the bit you wave about and generally blow trips with - I don't sell or recommend cordless irons, got mine off ebay for 20 quid!

Installing ceramic hob and double oven

But he said he wasn't sure if it was 4 or 6mm cable, and doesn't specify whether it's a CCU or just a switch - he also clearly states it's a 30 amp breaker. The 32A (actually 33 as you say yourself) is not a "worst case" - it's the current after diversity has been applied - clearly that cannot...

    Cooker hood bulbs

Great, until Robe, Coemar and a load of chinese manufacturers start making the same thing at a third of the price

    iron keeps tripping RCD

Get a steam generator type if splashing out on a decent one. Alternatively we have a completely cordless one that keeps everything nice and separate - but they aren't very common any more.

    Are you a "housebasher"?

I'm a genuinely DIY housebasher, and also an IT/telecoms engineer, which is probably worse!!

    wall uplighters

Most multitools eg. leatherman, gerber will let you hold a screwdriver blade out at 90 degrees where you can't fit anything else in too.

A fan heater whilst having your meal will do your head in. Get a couple of oil filled radiators.

    Broadband drop-out when phone rings

He's only got one phone - it's plugged into a filtered socket - so if it is a filtering problem it's a fault with the brand new filtered socket - they don't usually go like that though, so it's more likely a wiring problem. If he has an exchange (or other) ground connected to the ringer...

There's three in a few of mine - should I pull the third one out?  8) (might **** the wife off a bit if she's ironing using that socket...)
