    Economy 7 clock wrong

I truly can't see why ofgem would suddenly want to change the rules when variations have been the norm and deliberately made for decades. No and as I mentioned listening to a block of flats switching in the dead of night was a bit eery. The other system I mentioned was a series of delay start...

External garage electricity wrongly connected to neighbours supply

With respect the whole of my comments have been based on the presence of N-E voltage and a N-E fault and even described the fault. OK I didn't mention that nothing in either garage was running but then not relevant and at no time have disputed where neutral voltage comes from as I didn't think...

    Neutral-Earth Voltage 120V

But at least you will know you are shoving mains across your ohmmeter. Personally when I'm doing this test I go round looking for voltage and when it's zero I know it's good then work outwards from there and to be honest I'd probably be starting it with the power on and a LED screwdriver, not a...

    Neutral-Earth Voltage 120V

Start by measuring the voltage between the extension lead earth and the light fitting earth.

External garage electricity wrongly connected to neighbours supply

I would say that's true unless all of the loads are 3 wire 3ph

External garage electricity wrongly connected to neighbours supply

Your diagram correctly describes my earlier comments and demonstrates the most likely reason there is a PD betwix N & E. The load you show is anywhere on the system, including the properties along the road etc, the fact you have drawn this makes me surprised you (much more than some on here)...

    Unknown Connector - help please?

It's not worth persuing this, it is just more of JW's ficticious junk he keeps spouting and he will not respond when caught out. Sadly making such false statements and not backing them up with explanations tends to put the whole of his advice into doubt.

    KITCHEN SOCKETS tripping RCD

With kitchen tripping my first port of investigation is always dishwasher and washing machine. They account for the vast majority, I'd say close to 100% in my experience. Faulty internal mains filters are the usual cause.

    Economy 7 clock wrong

I think I foresee a mass recall of smart meters in the near future and/or a legal action against octopuss/meter manufactures

    Economy 7 clock wrong

It seems so And that is exactly what has happened historically, one of my rental properties is in a block and being there at that time they could all be heard clunking in possibly over a half hour period, equally where my Father In Law was in sheltered accomodation there were a number of 3ph...

    Economy 7 clock wrong

I find it incredible that 2 different sets of timing are used in one device. If the light and dark reading in OP's pics are the different tariffs I'd have personally rigged a check meter PDQ to read the LLL defined usage so I had some ammunition.

External garage electricity wrongly connected to neighbours supply

Some 50 years ago we usually had enough voltage N-E to be able to rectify it and float a car battery on it to run my 19set on it's dynamotor. I ran it like that for a couple of years without any other form of 'charging'.

External garage electricity wrongly connected to neighbours supply

That is what happened further along the row

External garage electricity wrongly connected to neighbours supply

Well in the above mentioned garage there were NO LOADS running, are you trying to say the RCD shouldn't trip?

External garage electricity wrongly connected to neighbours supply

Far too many in my opinion.

External garage electricity wrongly connected to neighbours supply

Well you can when the ammeter is taken away.

    Unknown Connector - help please?

Compliant with what? Where does it say that anything has to have a connector attatched? Many compliant products are supplied without plugs or connectors or terminals. As an immediate example I just happen to have a tab open at the moment showing this:Oh look bare ended wires More of your...

External garage electricity wrongly connected to neighbours supply

Oh I can imagine exactly how this can happen: No power in properties, all the dead testing is done (if any).

    Unknown Connector - help please?

Correct advice is good advice. The new light MAY be supplied with a connector. We see many on here which don't.
