sorry micilin ,in answer to you question,before the render there was no damp(i skimmed the house out months before ,clean a a whistle)when ive done there is ,nothings changed but my work,you got the degree work it out!

i've had this problem in the past when using admix fraid an overdose will lead to sandy patches on the float work and when sprayed will lift.

i cut down marshalltown drywall angle trowels so the wings are about 1 1/2 inch wide then your good to go!

do you mean in good old sand and torment render mate if so theres a few ways,coulor of sand,cement,and dyes,but the dye buisness was a bit hit and miss,the right colour of shingle/spar/stone can all so make a big difference.
