    sorry m8 ill explain,a normal semi weighs in at 90 to 100 sq,for this id use about thirty bags of powder to scratch(in your case s+c)maybe a few more to top,that gravel is fat and 25 to 30 stone to throw.

    k,400 square trad dash should go something like this,(remember the cement content could go up or down depending on the stength of the substrate!) scratch coat=@8mm is 28 opc ,110 sand buttercoat=@10mm is 23 opc,120 sand stone=128,big pea dont go far! should be 10% over,price your own...

    you miss my point m8,sometimes im asked to do things i no will fail,but a specs a spec and some agents /architects/engineers are stuck so far up their own harris they wont listen so i give em what they want to the letter then when it goes tits up its on them :)

    you will get bonding agent any were m8 but as you say you already pva,d id carry on with that,knock up a 5/1/1 s/c/lime with a large dose of pva in the mix,pva the ceiling wait to tack up then a tight coat then stippel,let this dry properly then scratch and top as per using pva as your admix

    dont pick your mats before you pick your spread,all through colour flat coats will crack if applied wrong,find a good spread well versed in new morter and he will advise.

    trowel my friend i've made more mistakes than you've got things right,if i told you i've renderd a thousand houses id be selling myself short,lime and w/p cancel each other out,dont no why im not a chemist but its the way of the world,learn by my mistakes my friend :oops:
