friend gave me a disk for computer to fill out and print forms and although they look much nicer than iee forms they are not identical to napit/ nic forms and so wasnt sure if they could be used :)

when completing forms (eic for example) must the forms from your reg body be used, ie must a napit member use napit forms or can any eic be used from say copied from regs or using a tysoft programme etc??

er no its not - you can join napit with a disq qual only or even 17th cert only. i never said i was registered with napit i said i hold there cert of competance theres a difference

i have completed city & guilds 2330 level 2 also hold 17th edition, pat, and am half way through 2391 insp &test course.(+ napit cert of competance for what its worth) now my c&g 2330 level 3 is about to start unfortunately run into some money problems and cant raise the ££££ to pay for...

could someone explain this statement? if the RCD still tripped when the MCB was off? That will tell you if it is Phase/earth or Neutral/Earth.

if you were to add to an existing lighting circ, would that circ need an rcd to be added if one did not exist, also if bonding was undersized would that need upgrading or could it be identified on forms as requires improving - (find all this very confusing)

your lights really shouldnt be run direct from the ring main

started 2391 at college last night and was bit concernd at looking stoopid in front of all the sparks, as it turns out i think im the only one who has a qualification not a spark in the class - bit worrying really as the 2391 is quite a big qualification...... anyway why is r1+rn/4 is it...

i start 2391 on monday but i think you need 17th before you can enroll (but mayb thats just up my way) also think napit are quite cheap and very helpful they just offered a mate a two day free testing course if he signs with them and i get to go with him - now thats service
