sorry to be a pain: measured zs on lighting circuit of 0.95ohms max zs for 6a breaker in regs is = 7.67ohms do these figures sound correct (only on a test board so no long runs etc) then divided volt by zs for a fault current = came up with 242? not sure how this is compared to...

bs7671 states given values for rcd operation: 30ma maximum Ra 1667 and states formula Ra Idelta n< 50 can someone explain this calculation cant seem to get the formula?

yeah the no trip is giving the error (why?) just found hi setting will give you ohms for zs and pfc gives ka for fault does this require 3 leads or can it be done with 2? circuits are rcd protected

been practising testing on a dummy board and all tests work out fine until: measuring ze efli pfc on all these tests MFT displays voltage but then get a TRP message in display - figure im doing something wrong with the procedure any ideas what?

shouldnt a spur only supply 13a outlet? 2 16a mcb will allow 32a through single 2.5? sure its non-notifiable?
