Thanks for the reply, The JB has 3 cables going in all screwed in. One thing I have noticed are the cables are very tight with hardly any movement in them and the JB is just floating and not attached to anything. It is also near a hot central heating pipe... Heres a pic, the cable I want...

Thanks for the info on the mounting boxes. However, I was just going to use surface mounted backboxes as they will be hidden behind the TV. Plenty of room as the Tv will be on a tilt. Thnaks everyone, your time is appreciated :D

Thanks everyone. Bought all bits, just need the tv to be delivered now! When you add 2 double sockets, does it matter if the mounting boxes are side by side or on top and bottom? I plan for the sockets to be positioned with no gap so the boxes touch.

Have you checked the proxy settings? If these have been changed you would be able to connect to router but no internet access.

Thanks again for replies. The Rcd covers the mcb. Did the test button as suggested and the power to the socket was dead. Thats good. I just wanted to make sure the RCD is suitable as im not sure from looking at it. It has nothing about 30a on it? Have added image. [/img]
