    You would not smell it if you have a sealed boiler. The gas would go strait out the flue to the out side.

    Since the pump is only 15 years old i cant see this as the problem. If you take the average T.V, car, washing machine, dishwasher, toaster, play station, and so on. Are these expected to last 15 years. You might consider powerflushing, or changining the rad valves

    meant to say inlet pressure ok so pipe sizing os ok but poor dhw flow is due to mains reduced, scale in exchanger, blocked filters. thus gas rate affected but as long as its operating within min and max its ok ?
