    Gas hob pipework

You simply get someone to get the pipework in place, then get them to come back and fit the hob when the kitchen is fitted.

    Gas hob pipework

It is not correct, a hose can be fitted but only if the manufacturer specifically states it can. And why would it make it difficult ? Any gas safe engineer should be able to hard pipe it quite easily.

Cooker hood ducting - 125mm to 100, or bigger hole?

That's incorrect, it will not go through faster, it will also likely make the fan noisier and possibly overheat the motor which more crucially invalidates the warranty. It says 125mm for a reason, I get called out to endless bodge installations where the customer is complaining its noisy or...

Should my range cooker be supplied in 22mm?

Those gas ovens are well known for taking longer to cook than books recommend, they almost always are lower than the temperature expected for each gas mark, you wont like me for saying this but they are a cheap cooker made by Beko and you wont get premium performance from it, they are basically...

    One for gas-safe members

Deliver and fit to point would mean that if the point is not in the correct position and is perfectly legal to walk away from without breaking any trading standards, the company I worked for told us to walk if it wasn't in the correct position, I only ended up fitting about 1 in 20, my friend...

    One for gas-safe members

it's 750mm or as the regs state it .75m, 630mm was the height stated by a popular manufacturer for many years so that's no doubt where you got that from, of course all these are overruled by the MI's anyway though.

    One for gas-safe members

I used to work. For a manufacturer that did installs, And had the same, we only fitted to point and if that wasn't correct we had to walk..... Why you ask ? Because they wouldn't pay the extra costs on insurance to allow us to carry and use a blow lamp !!!

    Relocate gas connection pipe height?

You can't fit a hob on a bayonet when there's an oven underneath, in fact there's very few hobs you can use a bayonet on full stop.

Baumatic: "cooker hoods do not extract steam"?

If it isnt extracting the steam them quite simply your extraction tube on top of the hood isnt up to the job, fitters usually use flexible tumble dryer venting tube which is never up to the job, only rigid 5 inch tube is usually good enough for most hoods.

    Comet gone !!!

Comet are closing all their service centres and getting rid of their service side completely, all work is to be sent back to the manufacturers to sort, 450 will be made redundant in the next 3-6 months.

    Butane gas indoors

Nope completely wrong, you are allowed to change the hose as you stated but you are NOT allowed to fit a new appliance, new appliances can have internal leaks etc so require proper testing when installed just the same as nat gas, only of course butane is far more dangerous than nat gas.

    Butane gas indoors

If you fitted the cooker yourself you did do something illegal, saying you won't post again simply proves you know you did wrong, if you do post again maybe you could explain how you did test it if you didn't use soapy water ?

Solid Fuel AGA to heat water?

As an ex AGA engineer I can confirm the previous 2 comments are correct and good advice, both posters being situated in Shropshire make me wonder if they also have had past dealings with AGA too ?

    Butane gas indoors

also camping stoves are made for self connection, domestic cookers aren't and in fact it's illegal to fit your own gas appliance unless you are deemed competent, using soapy water would immediately say you are not competent.
