    Well done wind

I never mentioned insulating buildings. Are you on drugs? I have no idea what you're talking about, which makes two of us.

    Well done wind

I have an idea. I just wrote it down. I don't find the need to gather the details for someone who plugs SSDs into PCs for a living and thinks they know everything.

    Well done wind

It would be cheap, too. A couple of generations after the initial investment, it would be basically free. Free energy, zero pollution, unlimited power. Not what any government wants, of course.

    Well done wind

Nowhere close. I haven't worked it out but including Net Zero, even with the predicted "oops, we forgot all about nuclear so let's do something now" approach I'd be surprised if nuclear funding will amount to 25% of clean energy. And if we had decided to chuck the money we spent on foreign wars...

    Well done wind

It's as clean and safe as any physical process can be. Operating pollution is essentially zero whilst decommissioning is much simpler than for fission waste, not least because the half-life of neutron activated components is relatively short and their contamination very low.

    Well done wind

If the country had invested the same amount of money into nuclear research as 'clean energy' since the 80s instead of obsessing over windmills and solar panels, we'd likely be some way to building the first fusion plants. Zero cost energy, completely unlimited, zero operating pollution. The...

    Anti semitic attack

The bit where you say he was arrested under suspicion of alleged rape, when in fact he was arrested under suspicion of rape.

At last, a decent sentence that fits the crime.

Amazingly, the UK is one of the better countries when it comes to sentences for serious crimes. And it's way improved on what it used to be. Anyone remember Mick Philpott? Before he killed his six kids he'd spent 3 years in jail. His crime? After shooting his girlfriend in the groin with a...

    Shut up, nobody's interested.

    Net Zero Rollback

I don't pretend to have read all the science, but I've read a little. What I found funny (or 'funny') is this: Let's say we as a country meet our Net Zero targets. It will have cost a minimum of £100bn, and probably several times that. It will then continue to cost huge sums after this. This is...

    Some on here need this

Funny. But none of it true. He threatened to send in troops because... The Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility in Portland has been targeted by protesters since early June, sometimes leading to violent clashes. As of 8 September, the US Attorney's Office had brought federal...

Farage on swans - is he right?

It doesn't matter why it happened. You claimed Farage started talking about it because he'd changed roles, when the real reason is that pre-2020 there was nothing to talk about.

Mandatory ID cards (Brit Card) to be announced tomorrow

It's how I always imagined the future. When Frisk moved into a shared house earlier this year, he organized a chipping party for his new housemates. Now they can access the 16th century building they share in Stockholm's Old Town by tapping their hands on a digital reader by the door. Finally...

Farage on swans - is he right?

And you're free to disprove there are fairies at the bottom of my garden. Oh you can't!? Show your evidence!!! So I'm right!!! etc.

Mandatory ID cards (Brit Card) to be announced tomorrow

Yet you appear not to know the meaning of common English words. Being 'detained' means being held against your will. This does not include hotels, hostels or reporting requirements. In this respect, it means government facilities or prisons. Mid-2024, there were 1800 illegal immigrants detained...

Farage on swans - is he right?

Don't embarrass yourself further on my account. Make up all the nonsense you want, I really don't mind.

Farage on swans - is he right?

What illegal army is this? What politics do they hold that puts their life in danger? Aren't women allowed to have political views? Don't children get conscripted into 'illegal armies'? Don't just make stuff up and expect others to believe it. And if you truly believe it's only 'fit young men'...
