    oil burner lockout

If you've got no fuel in the tigerloop it suggests a problem with the supply or the tigerloop not priming. It was suggested you check for carp at the filter - have you done this? It's no good looking for burner problems if you haven't proved the fuel supply 1st. Did you connect the fuel lines...

    oil boiler problems

If you're sure it's bled and you don't have any water contamination it may be worth replacing the solenoid coil (reasonably cheap, if you can get one at this time on a Sunday - if you were nearer I'd be tempted to pop out to sort it!) - gotta go and sort some stuff out now I'll check back later...

    oil boiler problems

Fair enough james not nice being cold! The black blanking plug (with P written against it - not V ?) should bleed the pump, but you should bleed the filter also (may have 2 screws on top - or a small nut - or open up sight gauge to bleed air out). Maybe try cracking the nut where flexi pipe...

    oil boiler problems

Did you bleed the filter and pump after cleaning? sounds like it could be fuel supply problem or faulty solenoid or even pump. Advice from leakydave is sound(there are a number of things that might be the cause), if you can't connect to oil pump and measure pressure might be better to get...

    oil burner lockout

I'm not being critical but there are less expensive items you could've changed before the pump (nozzle - filter element - solenoid coil - photocell). You've not actually proved the pump to be faulty and from previous posts it doesn't seem that you have an oil pressure gauge to set the pump up...

    Which Oil fired boiler

If there's nowt wrong with the boiler why replace it? - I won't replace anything that's not broken unless customer insists. As a user I prefer stored hot water systems to combi's (although combi's are easier to fit). Personally I'd try and get the existing problem fixed which may lead to...

    oil burner lockout

Did the OFTEC technician who installed the tank and tigerloop not check the pressure etc... when they finished the installation? Presumably you had the old tank contents emptied into the new tank so could be carp in the filter (as already suggested), so check this 1st as quite easy to do...

Help with identification / source of Trianco boiler part

Are you sure it's a Minor 1 burner? The part you've pictured looks more suited to a Minor 8 or 12 burner. I would describe it as intermittent lock out to the engineer. Didn't mean to come across as grumpy on earlier post, just frustrates me when turning up for a service (which we charge less...

http://support.reznor.co.uk/article.aspx?id=10453 Try the above link for Minor 1 burner manual.Could Google for supplier. Out of interest are you going to tell the professional you've got the lock out problem (breakdown) or just book them for a service and mention it as they're there?

    Central Heating Not Working

Have you checked your oil filter at the tank? Could be full of carp, sounds like an oil supply problem on 1st read. Agree with Matt1e on the shower problem.

    Trianco Eurostar 65 not flaming

£300 per hour does sound a bit extreme but I'd be surprised if you got someone out for less than a £70 callout charge (1st 30mins) + parts, particularly for Surrey area. Company I work for would charge £102 callout for 1st 30mins if you did not have a service contract (i.e. haven't looked after...
