Retrofitting a Cavity Tray with an awkward roof height

I'd first be checking where rain could be getting in around the windows. I can't see it penetrating the painted brickwork.

Help wanted with kitchen drain waste pipe blocked

A lot of household chemicals are dangerous, e.g. acid toilet cleaner used with bleach (really nasty)!! And oven cleaner has the same ingredient! Also caustic soda is a strong alkali not an acid.

Help wanted with kitchen drain waste pipe blocked

Well yeah, that's the whole idea, dissolves organic matter like hair! Obviously don't get it on yourself! Bleach in your eyes won't do you much good either, where would you stop?

Help wanted with kitchen drain waste pipe blocked

Never tried removing solvent weld. But presume you've tried something like caustic soda to clear the blockage?

Best places to buy builders clothes?

I've still got some lidl trousers that have done really well. My aldi trousers failed at the seam quite quickly. My favourite trousers are Dickies which are good value. I've had a few "new" ones from ebay quite cheap.

Pipe centres < width of radiator

Yes, you'll be able to get the offset with elbows/streets. 135 elbows will give the smallest offset.

Decorator's caulk or General purpose sealant ?

Do you mean a hybrid sealant adhesive? Says they can be painted over, but I've never done it and also wondering how well they take paint myself as they have some flexibility.

I'm scared to change the oil because I think I stripped the sump threads last time, but it needsdoin

The PSA 1.6hdi's are well known for destroying their turbos with lack of oil changes. They are small oil capacity engines and pollute the oil quickly. I change the oil in mine twice as frequently as recommended. It's so cheap to do yourself, the biggest pain being the removing the engine guard...

17.5 degrees is the minimum pitch of your tiles provided the headlap is 100mm.

    Bonding gutters

Yes, looks like the type of bonding gutter they've fitted should have a mortar bed.

    new extension recurring roof leak

FYI, the pitch is the rafter pitch, not that of the tiles. If the ceiling is vaulted you can measure that.
