yeah is domestic, but i've done some NVQ3 gas exams this year and there has been a couple of LPG questions (storage, soundness testing, density etc), so you think that there wont be any LPG in the CCN! assessment then? any tips on the practical? - do i have to take meter out and not swing it?

Got my dates through today :D (end of March), and was wondering how much off the assessment is on LPG? (all i know about LPG is that you have to shovel it out of the room when it leaks :lol: ). cheers..

use a three port and a twin channel programmer,Dont know how the switching works from voltfree boiler as the mid position will need 240 send and so will the cyl stat. ...come on guys enlighten the uneducated on voltfree y plans. :?

as Chr15 said you may be suffering from induced or self syphonage - do you notice any 'gurgling' when you pull a plug?

KBlack - Give the pros all of the details of your system - boiler, cylinder, controls etc, etc... -there are hundresds of different combinations so they could be guessing all night (well they wont they will just ignore you) :lol: The more informaton then the more chance of a diagnosis!

ChrisR - Is it allright then to use pumped hot and mains cold for a power shower I thought pump both for a more balanced supply?

Kettle - I got 100% nah, nah,na-na-nah (i did have to guess on some though, ie FSD shut down on the fire - i thought 60secs)

If hes studying plumbing and gas then he really does need to buy some books, what course is he doin? - I'm coming to the end of my NVQ2+3 plumbing nad heating, so if he wants some advice on books... then ask me :D

I would get a CORGI to fit as this will take any worry out of your head (even if you are competant). More money but less stress at the end of the day, plus your guarantee will be valid (if you try registering the fire yourself they will want your Corgi Number etc...).

Give the OP a break!. surely thats a ligit question if he is a newbie RGI and i think if Chr15 is a newbie RGI then he has also been given a belting for no particular reason. To the diynot regulars.. You lot have helped me more than i can imagine and probably deserve, so why not these...
