    Does the solenoid coil energise? You can test it by putting a screw driver on it and you'll feel the pull.

    Point 5 - when you say buzzes away for a few seconds, do you mean exactly that, or can you hear the motor spin and the buzz is the electrodes sparking? For about 15-20 seconds?

    You need to spend less time on YouTube adopting the views of others and form an opinion of your own. The majority of your videos are from the same guy who obviously has an issue with Worcester. The new Worcester's still have plastic manifolds and plastic flow turbine adapters....

    You've got a decent boiler with a very good guarantee if you are unfortunate enough to experience any problem. Have you bought the boiler yet can I ask?

    I personally think so. Seem a good boiler. Comes with decent controls out of the box and is backed up with a 6 year guarantee

    Easy job, glue 5p onto the plunger . Job done. Joking. Who's your service contract with. Make sure you tell them to check the micro switch when they're diagnosing as above they'll probably try fobbing you off. I quite enjoy doing them, as long as I have the time

    They will honour your boilers minimum guarantee no quibble. A 10 year guarantee has to be fitted by an approved installer so that's something you'd have to speak to Worcester about

    Both are circulation problems. Quite possibly the pump. Phone Worcester yourself they'll register the warranty for you

    Does the boiler 'gurgle' 'bubble' before locking out? If not then it's probably your electrodes, what boiler isit? 16 years old sounds like a HE?
