Hey Martin, thanks for the suggestion. I looked at resin floors after your comment and they do look like a great solution and easy to DIY. Only downside is expense. I've settled on laying DPM sheet, fixing treated battens to the substrate and then laying Tongue and groove 22mm chipboard. I think... -

Help required with materials for non permanent underdesk mount
If you’re happy to have a removable part, could you not just build a frame that sits on the floor? Plenty of temporary ways to fasten it to the table leg to make it sturdy, Velcro, a latch, etc- Loscie
