I'd trust the online checkers far more than trying to route from my LAN. Do you have a spare PC you could setup with a service and test against? Kind of rule out the Visonic in the first instance until you prove the router..

And the answer is no. The KP-160 is just for arming/disarming. No setup via the KP-160 is possible. TBH I'm not finding the touch screen very responsive at all, and can sometimes take quite a few taps to wake up.. Although coming from an amoled smartphone maybe I'm expecting to much!!

Thanks for the reply. I spoke to Visonic support and they confirmed only one option of siren for the PowerMaster range. No AC powered siren available for the UK market. So, arguably, the documentation is wrong, which lead me to greatly exaggerated the level modification required to this...

After posting that I went and checked again as obviously VM don't use the BT line so thought it strange. What I mistook for the incoming BT line was actually the VM line. My BT socket is fine and so edited my above post. Shame you were so quick to reply ;)

This thread prompted me to have a look at our telephone wiring and luckly VM have left the BT socket connected. They also kindly rewired our extension network back into the VM socket.

For the third time I am looking at GU10 mains voltage fittings. It appears your third response has answered my question and the light should be dimmable. Can anyone else confirm please?
