    Smart Leak Detector

Hi, please don't apologise, I appreciate you taking the time to comment. I sort of agree it's probably more of a gimmick generally but for less than £15 I might buy a couple and put them in the most likely place a leak would occurr and at least they may be of some use in the future...

    Smart Leak Detector

Hi, I'm looking to install a smart leak detector in my kitchen. From what I can see basically they are a battery operated unit with a lead that lies on the floor. As always there are some very cheap ones and some such as the Honeywell type that are around £65. Has anyone had any experience...

    Extending wifi coverage

Well I got round to having another go to get this to work......without success! I have connected 1 TP Link extender into my main Vodafone router via an Ethernet cable, then paired my second TP Link extender to it. I've plugged the 2nd extender in my garage which is about 15 metres away and has...

    Extending wifi coverage

Thanks for the quick reply matlob. I have a pair of TP Link extenders but I wasn't sure if they would do the job. Is it as simple as setting up the two TP Link plugs and plugging my sky router into the TP plug in the garage? I need wifi coverage within the garage to operate my automatic wifi...

    Extending wifi coverage

I have a Vodafone router for my broadband, I don't get coverage in my garage so need to extend the range. I have an old Sky router, would it be possible to configure the Sky router so it connects to the Vodafone router and place it in my garage to get coverage in there?

Setting up TP Link router to act as an extender

I'm very sorry but I'm really not clued up on this sort of thing which is why I thought I'd ask for some help on the forum. The router is a TP Link TL-WA 801ND, there is a plethora of other information on the base of the router if you need this I can let you know. Thank you.

Setting up TP Link router to act as an extender

Thanks but that just took me to a Google search and I've tried that but the set up is so complicated and I've hit so many problems I can't complete the process. There's also a lot on Google about how difficult these TP Link routers are to set up!

Setting up TP Link router to act as an extender

Could anyone help me set this router up please. I believe I've followed the instructions in the kit to the letter but I keep going round in circles with no success. Can anyone give me a step by step guide as the instructions provided seem illogical. Thanks in advance.

    Elkay Programmable light switch

Guys, i must apologise. After this hasn't worked for a few months I've literally just discovered the lamp that was in the light fitting must have been faulty. It didn't light up but when put in another fitting it worked for about 2 minutes then blew along with the fuse. I've put a new bulb in...
