turn off the cold feed to the cylinder,the one that feeds from the tank above ,drain heating and refill by re opening the cold feed.......simples.
by the way the circs go straight into the cylinder and do not have a cold feed or vent connection.
so why didnt you say that in the first place tony instead of looking down from the high ground, it was only a n idea to see if it was feisable and could benefit slightly low water systems toget a better flow thats all. and it is not so nerr :)
will adding said pump to an unvented system on the cold water inlet to the cylinder work to any great degree, current water pressure standing is 1.5bar anyone had any dealings with said pump.
you need to replace the factory fitted link on the connection strip,the boiler comes without the clock when new ,or just link out the heating call clock wires (not the mains connections on the clock).
link out the heating connection inside the boiler to test the function of any external electrics, its inside the cover on the l/h side next to the mains connection.
