Hi i cannot get hot water on demand when i open hot water tap boiler does not attempt to flash up, but if i have the central heating on and boiler is running i can get hot water from taps, any ideas appreciated ?

The piv unit has been fitted, it is the type without heater element and literally cost pennies a day to run, because it is summer now the fan wiill stop and go into standbye mode and will start automatically when temperature in loft drops to a certain level, i dont expect it to be a magic wand...

For your information i have had a survey done by an expert and i am acting on his recommendations guess i must be a good landlord after all ;)
