Wolseley had one in stock nearby so I shot over there before 5 and picked it up.

I replaced the pcb with a new one and it’s fired back up!

Checked pump with meter and there is 240v there when heating sequence starts. That’s what’s running for 10 secs before boiler shuts down. Don’t think it’s the pump. As before. As soon as hot tap is on boiler shuts down

can here a low hum not sure if it’s the pump Gave the pressure sensor a jiggle And checked the plug on the end s.97 gone but same prob shutting down

S.30 in when boiler on standby the S.97 when applying heating looking online it says S.97 Water pressure sensor check is running, demand (DHW or heating) is blocked

If I fit the link wire between 24 & RT something starts to run for about ten seconds but it’s not the boiler firing. But then then the boiler shuts down

the 24v ones. Via the hive control unit.

The boiler has both 24v & 230v RT connections.

Definitely getting 24v between neutral & RT terminal not 240v sorry flash may have been incorrect. Poss. The resettable fuses .

Even with hive disconnected at the boiler and boiler reset it still has a S.30 code when using the buttons to view

Bridge removed. Tested voltage at Neutral and the RT terminal 4. 24v present. nothing at the 24v terminal 3 & neutral

If I bridge 3 & 4 the pre heat starts then boiler shuts down. Getting a flash of light off the pcb too I noticed

i bypassed the hive by fitting the link wire back in the boiler. Same problem

S.30 code Room thermostat is blocking heating mode I have a Hive wireless stat connected to the boiler
