ok with it being the distance from a garden wall. I.e not a house is it more to do with the air intake being a problem with it being close to a wall?

How far should a flue be from a wall that extends up pass the flue I think this is classed as an external corner. I this cause the wall is a garden wall

25mm is a very small distant to exit below the eaves though, was quite shocked when read this.

Hi I always thought fanned flue boiler flues needed to be 200mm below the eaves but sure iv read in some MI that the distance is 25mm below the eaves sounds a bit close

Thanks I just wondered if they took in to account spray from the shower if wasn't a full screen.

The shower would be at the other end of the bath but is it ok as the screen on a bath doesn't go all the way around the showering area like a shower cubical screen would.

Is it still classed as outside of the zones (0, 1 and 2) (i.e. over 600 mm from bath/shower If you were to position a boiler at the foot off the bath over 600mm from the end off the bath, but were the bath as a shower over it as the screen doesn't extend all the way around the showering area.

I emailed ideal they said they were suitable for zone 3 but not in zone 2

Thanks for the help, how come ideal state, even if put in a cupboard they need to be installed beyond zone 2 further than 0.6meters from the bath but most boilers don't.

Thanks so are you saying must boilers can be installed in zone 2 these days? I.e less than 0.6meters from the bath or shower?

Thanks was looking at an ideal independent or logic but think I read they can't be in zone 2 is that correct? Can you recommend any boilers that can be fitted in zone 2. Thanks
