    Can I fit recessed spotlights with no overhead access?

    Have you got any space to recess them? If thats the loft roof, then presumably the tiles are directly above? I'd stick with surface fittings myself. 8)

    alarm questions . . .

    I got called out on a fault a few years back and that's what I said! Then I actually went in the garden and set the alarm off by walking past the window.................... Couldn't see any obvious damage to the glass. Changed the PIR. Sorted. Very unusual though, I agree.
