    The membrane sags against the vessel wall and eventually tears. Many have a V or the word "vertical" on their data Badge rather than an explicit instruction.

    Cylinder needs a service and that vessel shouldn't be orientated horizontally and could be guffed.

    In answer to your other thread. The UFh should come with actuators. If it doesn't let me know and I'll add them on. They're all much of a muchness. The UFH controller is in stock now too.

    I would guess the rain is washing off the pipe and down the wall and giving that stain, or that the boiler PRV has been letting by a little.

    You're taking the front cover off the boiler which is sealed and will affect the combustion properties of the appliance.
