The decking is just over 6x2m the wall is going to get painted to clean it up and iv seen some nice light coloured arched trellis at BQ but its about £30 a panel :roll: but I suppose no matter what I do its gonna cost thats why id like to see what others have done to see if I can cut cost but...

You can buy all different sized Joist Hangers....id take them back to save all the hassle at get the correct sized ones I was looking at some in BQ earlier this week as it happens....as im building mine next weekend :)

I like the Idea of Glass alot......specially if one side is sprayed black or maybe a greeny blue. I saw it on a Home improvement program once but they had cupboards above it and at night it was light with under cupboard lights that were different colours, It looked very nice

I don't believe that for a second... Cats in my area especially loved freshly dug earth to :evil: I spent some of the day yesterday diggin up a Border getting rid of all the weeds moss grass etc, I then new to put some weed membrain down straight away as the cats would be gifting all over...

I expect the best solution is sprinklers....not sure if they can be activated via motion detectors though? I use GetOff and to be frank its crap unless you use it continusely also when it rains its uslass after too and can become quite expensive......have you thought about drawing pins...
