Thanks, I have changed the level in the tank tonight when I re filled the system. It still pumps over. It is about 400mm from the water level to the vent pipe. I could try making the vent pipe slightly higher by about 60mm before it touches the roof. Do you think this would cure both the...

Thanks, yeah still does it on pump speed 1. Do you think T-ing the 15mm feed in to the Vent further up would cure it?

An Update. I drained the system today, all seemed clear and re-filled and vented. Now pumps over only on CH and not HW. I get the trickling noise on both though. Any ideas what causes this? Or how to fix it. Thanks in advance.

Also would it be best to run some cleaner through the system? I'm not 100% sure there is a partial blockage in the feed, but its the only thing I can think of which can be causing it to make the trickling noise. When it wasn't doing in before. If there are any other things I can try before...

Thanks, thats a good idea. Trouble is I don't know who to get in to service it! May have to do a search on the net i guess. I'm hoping its something simple that may be rectified by the service anyway. Wishful thinking maybe though.

I don't think I was getting this trickling noise before I drained down the system to put the rad in. Is there anything else I can try to dertermine if it is the "H" piece that is too high or something else? The boiler is due a service so is there anything in the boiler that could cause this...

Yes I've bled the magnaclean, just water comes out. Not sure why its on the flow, its how it was fitted by BG before i bought the house. From what I have read on here it should be on the return! Could the trickling noise in to the boiler be due to anything else other than air?
