    Thermostatic bar shower

putting a isolation valve on the cold will not reduce pressure, it will only reduce flow rate Most of these Bar type showers are designed to work on unequal pressures so you may have to stripit down to find any fault

    Oil Boiler Replacement...

To Install Oil fired Boilers you need OFTEC qualifications. Siting of the Boiler depends on dimensions , ie doors and windows. There are not that many oil boilers to compare as they all work on the same principle but i find Thermecon offer a great back up service

Pressure Loss - idiots guide !!!

sorry but disagree. Safety valves are there for a reason and should not be regarded as a risk when checking there operation. i use this system on a regular basis and achieve results and i dont keep going back time and time again to the same problem. Dont be afraid of the Boiler!

Pressure Loss - idiots guide !!!

chris pressure relief valves should always be tested as part of a boiler service Any one who doesnt test them isnt servicing properly! If a Plumber drains your boiler to work on the expansion vessel he would most probably drain through the pressure relief

i wouldnt worry about "maybe,s" unlikely that valve will stick open and lets face it do you wanna cure the problem or tiptoe around it! Pressure relief valves are not as vulnerable as people would like to think

Pressure Loss - idiots guide !!!

when checking for leaks, do it when system is cold and increase pressure on system until water flows from pressure relief valve. The high pressur will make it easier to spot any leaks . Make sure you reduce pressure to normal before restarting boiler. Also Expansion vessel is a good start...

Central Heating Pump bangs every 30 mins and boiler trips

The high limit stat is the overheat thermostat on the boiler. Is the boiler getting exceptionally hot ie if pump was faulty or not large enough then the heat would not distribute from the boiler and thus you would get knocking sounds until eventually the overheat stat would trip
