Baxi Solo cutting out - help needed

Couple of possibilities here, its more than likely because the thermocouple is allowed to cool which then cuts the whole lot out. The pilot is being affected somehow , watch to see if the pilot is affected as main flame comes on and have the main flame gas pressure checked. If pressure is too...

Pressure loss on sealed central heating system

Use the filling loop, usually a silver braided hose linking the mains water and one of the bigger heating pipes, open the valve(s) and let the pressure rise to about 1 Bar and shut off the water again. Should do the trick

No hot water after removing radiator from Combi CH system

Pressure for most modern boilers should sit at around 1 - 1.5 Bar when cold, use the filling loop to pressurise the system, check the pump has been vented as this can stall/ jam the rotor and that any air removal device on the boiler has its cap open a touch also ensure any bleed points at the...

It has 2 wires and a little pin sticking up which will press in and...

Pumps are designed to cope with a lot of heat in normal use central heating systems but if they are pumping against a restriction or a greater head than they are capable of moving they will heat up and possibly thermally trip internally if one is fitted. Also they have to be fitted correctly as...
