    Do you think changing the trap to a fast flow will make any difference? Or fitting a deeper tray will this allow a better fall and flow?

    It runs in the floor to an external stack, the house is only 8 years old and we've always had the problem so I'm thinking it's not a blockage issue but an installation problem

    The pipe looks 40mm although there doesn't look like much of a fall on it, not sure if the waste trap is fast flow and if this would make much difference and the tray is really shallow

    I'm thinking because I've been removing the water trap bit that hair has become stuck over time because it hasn't a trap to stop it but to start removing to start with suggests there was a problem originally I think

    Can u get larger than 40mm? If so will it fit on the trap as standard?

    The house is only 8 years old so I'm guessing it will already have 40mm pipe fitted tho?

    Removing the trap used to work now it's doesn't as much even with it out so in my opinion it's either the fall isn't enough or the trap and/or pipes aren't large enough

    Right guys bank holiday and its raining, time to have a go at the shower. Both my showers upstairs when your in them the water doesn't get away quick enough and starts to come over the tray. They've always done it and I end up taking the trap inlay out of the waste or turning it off for a while...
