    Thanks Al, but exactly what Im worried about - pipe will only be about 300mm long - heat bending is going to introduce someting like 2 x 45 degree bends - I need to be confident that this wont disrupt water flow so much that the lav wont flush! I know some pans are more efficient flushers...

    Thanks! The plumber briefly ran a tap & stopped the flow with his finger & said it was 'ok, but best get a low pressure mixer'. Most seem to work a minimum 1 bar, I'm sure i've got more than that!

    Loose door fame - help!

    I'm stuck! Several of the door frames in my house have worked loose over the years. Ther are all fixed in breezeblock, I've tried fixing one with a log screw & plasplug, but it hasn't worked. Any ideas??
