    6mm HR flex is available from the wholesalers, check the output on the cooker and MCB rating, if your using a 32A 4mm HR flex will be fine, stranded cables will carry more current than non-stranded cables ie. twin and earth

    RCD 1x should be less than 200ms this doesn't mean it should be greater than 40. I tested the circuit at the furthest point. The tester works fine, recently calibrated.

    dont have a clue sorry i work for someone, not for myself, get 2 or 3 contractors to give you a quote and see who you like best but make sure they are approved NICEIC. If they are NICEIC domestic installer dont bother, anyone can be a domestic installer after a weeks course witch is rediculous.
