    Noisy boiler

check all screws are tight on the boiler front, it may be sucking in air if its not sealed properly. also the central heating water doesnt come into contact with the diaphragm on the diverter valve. and a 24i has a flow switch not a diverter i think.

Have you had a look in the combustion chamber on the boilr, the heat exchanger could have a crack in it and leaking from there.

    Boiler help please!

is there a switch on it that says high or low, if u have it on high try it on low and vice versa. if all rads are hot it sounds like it isnt shutting down when it should so possibly a fault with high or low stat. either that or your heat exchanger may be scaled up inside

    Boiler help please!

i'm not sure, maybe there is a overheat button that needs pushing back in, its like a dark red colour with a button with like a cross on it... I would of thought if it had overheated then it would of took the pilot out with it so you may not find one of these.

    Only Warm Radiators downstairs?

also put the heating on by itself and feel the pipe to your cylinder to see if it is getting hot ( it shouldn't be) it may be the pump is labouring and hasnt got the umphh to push the water back upstairs, close the bypass valve for a bit more force

help! cold rads after partial drain

also if the cylinder is unvented you may find an air vent right on the top of it.

help! cold rads after partial drain

try turning the two that are working off also there will be a gate valve on a 15mm pipe that is between the pump and the 3 port valve, this is a bypass valve shut it completly and this should force more water round check your pump is on speed 3. if it works open the bypass again but only two turns.
