sorry... this being a DIY forum i didnt realise i had to have a degree in plumbing technology to post problems :D also.... i didnt do anything to the pipes.. i fitted one of those over the taps mixer adaptors.. so the actual plumbing is the same as it was originally... i did have one day...

hi there.. Ive just moved into a new house and we have a problem with the hot water supply upstairs... I fitted a new set of taps in the bath to supply a shower head (temp measure till i get round to fitting an electric shower)... the problem is, the water goes hot, then gradually loses...

just to let you know... we got the full amount for the shower

thats what i told them when they said i was in breach of contract... they told me not to be so stupid !!... if they dont pay up then im sticking the old one back on the wall when we move out anyway (currently looking for a bigger property)

theres nothing.... to tell the truth the original shower went bang on Sunday so i took the cover off and found the live and the neutral insulation blackened and brittle ( sign of overcurrent), the boiler unit faulty and the solenoid not working.... then i went out and bought an exact replacement...
