How do I wire this 2 port valve into system?

Why? When he can time the drying room or time the drying room and the rest of the house together. IE: Set the programmer for 10 programs not 16. As per mickyg's simplistic gravity hw, pumped heating analogy.

How do I wire this 2 port valve into system?

Terminal 1 on a LP241, 722, 522, 112 is HW off. The OP is using an LP241. Terminal 1 is not required for spring return valves. Older Sunvics, Switchmasters, Satchwell non spring return valves use this terminal. Terminal 1 is the common only on single channel ACL Draytons. The OP is...

How do I wire this 2 port valve into system?

Just read what mogget has said. He is correct. With your method, you will get feedback up the orange wire, down the grey, and into the brown, which in turn will open the valve when it shouldn't.

How do I wire this 2 port valve into system?

The grey remains live 24/7, 365 days a year. The brown on the MV connects to heating on via the roomstat. The brown then opens the valve, that is all. When the valve is open, a switch inside makes the grey to the orange. Orange then sends the signal to the boiler.

How do I wire this 2 port valve into system?

Kevin, please understand, grey does not connect to any room stat, it connects to permanent live.

Erm... no! Why would you want to do that, ever?

How do I wire this 2 port valve into system?

The LP241 is 240v only. ie, it doesn't do volt free. Only the single channel progs LP111, LP711, do volt free. In which case you would come off 3 on the boiler to 1 on the prog. However, this is not what he has or needs.

How do I wire this 2 port valve into system?

Mogget, we are correct on this. It's really quite simple. Just use terminal 4 to fire the boiler. Ignore terminal 3. Leave the boiler in HW/CH mode and let the LP241 and MV weave their magic. Use HW side or the prog to do the drying room, CH side to do the whole lot. Kevin, how can he...

How do I wire this 2 port valve into system?

On a single channel eg LP111 or LP711, yes. But we are talking an LP241, I assume no built in clock on the boiler. In this case, ignore terminal 3 on the boiler.

Is the Eco tec external control circuit volt free or 240v?

How do I wire this 2 port valve into system?

Read the OP again, Kevin. The LP241 is a TWO channel programmer. Ignore the HW on the programmer, he just intends to use it as a channel.

How do I wire this 2 port valve into system?

The grey wire has NO relationship with the brown. All the brown does is open the valve when asked to from the prog. This is why the grey is always wired to premanent live, so when the valve opens, it operates a little internal contact that powers the orange to light the boiler. Do not, I...

How do I wire this 2 port valve into system?

Think again mate. Terminal 3 (HW) from programmer direct to terminal 4 on the boiler. This will do the drying room. Terminal 4 (CH) from programmer to brown (via room stat if fitted) on the MV. The grey on the MV is to permanent live, when valve opens, orange becomes live (to terminal...

    help with worcester combi

To solve your ignition problem, change the flame sensor (comes with harness). Cost is only £12. If that doesn't solve it, then it requires a new PCB. As for your other problems, I assume flushing has been successful?
