This is on an external wall. It's an old sandstone building and the chimney is built into the wall.

Have just removed our fireplace surround and the brick work seems to have been built out to accommodate the shape of the fireplace. Am I fine to remove all of this? There shouldn't be anything load bearing?

Just to update, We fitted a pump to the system and sorted the problem. They suspected the water wasn't able to reach a high enough flow rate the to the pipe diameters.

Yep D.071 is set to 75c and D.017 is set to 0. D.005 shows target temperature is 75c but when central heating is called this drops down to 60c. The boiler seems to be automatically limiting the heat out put for some reason.
